HushLine Chapter 1
HUSHLINE-1
A sound-based psychological horror game.
You are a relief worker sent to a sealed research station that has gone silent. The lights are out, and the only way to see is to make noise. Each sonar pulse reveals the world for a moment, but the station hears it too.
Something in the dark repeats whatever you do. It learns your footsteps, your running and the rhythm of your pulses, then plays them back from empty rooms and from behind sealed doors. Over time it begins to answer you before you act.
Features
- Sonar-only vision: pulse to see, stay silent to survive.
- Sound Memory System: the facility records your sounds and replays them against you, with increasing wrongness.
- The Listener: it starts by hunting noise, then imitates you, and eventually reproduces your sounds in places you’ve never been.
- A changing station: chairs turn, tally marks multiply and objects move while you’re away.
- Piecing the story together: 22 recordings, including hidden ones, explain what happened to the thirty-one researchers.
- Two endings: at the Core you learn what the Listener is and make a choice. Leave and survive, or enter the loop.
- Saving: it autosaves, with Continue on the title screen and exportable or importable save files.
Controls: WASD to move, Shift to run, Space to pulse, E to interact, J for the journal, Esc to pause.
Headphones recommended.
